21 May Saturday Sundown Swing
What’s better than live music all night long? Live music in four venues, all night long! You can catch all nine bands because the music starts at different times, and each band plays for an hour and a half! All four venues are on one block of Grand Avenue, which will be closed to traffic for your swinging convenience. KVNF (233 Grand Ave.) and Town Hall (214 Grand Ave.) will provide acoustic music, offering Southern African Marimbas and singer-songwriters, while the Paradise (215 Grand Ave.) and the Blue Sage (228 Grand Ave.) will be the place for dance music, offering a collection of Funk, Rock, Reggae and more! All the musicians are handpicked local and regional acts from Grand Junction to Gunnison. Nine bands, four venues, six hours of music, all for just $30!
This year we have two new features! Are you interested in the bands at the Paradise, but not at the others? Perhaps the Blue Sage is more to your liking? You can get single venue admission for just the Paradise or just the Blue Sage, three bands at each venue, for $15 at the door! These admissions are cash only, please. The second is a special feature, highlighting Elsewhere Studios artist in residence. The Cirque Cyclery will be open for no admission fee so that you may enjoy the unique sounds and performance art of Siri Undlin!
